"La Paz Estates homes have been designed to offer a variety of home plans and sizes so our families have a lot of choices," said Wayne Laska, president of the home-building firm. The neighborhood is located on East Lake Mead Boulevard, between Pecos Road and Lamb Boulevard. Prices start from the low $200,000s. Buyers can choose from six floor plans, ranging from 1,339 to 2,030 square feet. Five are two-story layouts and the other is the three-story Wharton design. Highlights include bullnose corners, gas ovens/ranges, recessed lighting, oak cabinetry, double sinks, and designer color schemes. The kitchens showcase walk-in pantries and breakfast bars, while the master suites display walk-in closets. Options, per plan, include lofts, bonus rooms, game rooms and home theaters. The garages are drywalled and painted, and have doors with windows. "I can talk all day about the quality and the wonderful design features we've included at La Paz Estates," Laska said. "But descriptions can be dry and boring, while our homes are full of color and rich details you can only fully appreciate when you see them. So, we all hope you will join us this weekend and get acquainted with StoryBook Homes." The model homes are open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Mondays, when they open at noon. Also in the northeast, StoryBook Homes is near closeout at Owens Estates. Only two homes remain for sale, each measuring 3,111 square feet. Both are ready for immediate occupancy and provide views of the valley. Prices start from the the $400,000s. The subdivision is located near East Owens Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard. The builder also has homes available in the southwestern valley. Toyland, near El Capitan Way and Gomer Road, just south of Blue Diamond Road, offers floor plans ranging from 1,620 to 2,117 square feet and priced from the high $200,000s. Storyland, at Windmill Road and South Decatur Boulevard, features single-family residences measuring 1,339 to 2,030 square feet and priced from the mid-$200,000s. StoryBook Cove, near South Decatur Boulevard and Cactus Avenue, has homes available measuring 1,620 to 2,117 square feet and priced from the high $200,000s.
